►WHAT IS THIS
The Cyanotype Process is method by which Blueprints are fabricated. Formed from a mixture of Ferric Ammonium Citrate, Potassium Ferricyanide and water, a photo-sensitive sensitizer is made that changes from colorless to blue when exposed under UV light from the sun or an artificial lamp.
The sensitizer may be applied to any porus surface that will absorb it – much like a dye (though, blueprints are technically not a dye).
In this video I explore and demonstrate how to make blueprints, ass well as a few tips and tricks and creative ideas that may inspire you to try your hand at the craft!
